UN calls on Russia to provide access to areas affected by Kakhovka HPP dam explosion 

The United Nations called on Russia to allow the delivery of humanitarian aid to the areas affected by the Russians' detonation of the Kakhovka HPP dam

According to the UN, Moscow has so far rejected a request for access to territories under its temporary military control.

"The UN will continue to engage to seek the necessary access. We urge the Russian authorities to act in accordance with their obligations under international humanitarian law. Aid cannot be denied to people who need it,” the message reads.
