Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, head of Ukrenergo, Ukraine’s state grid operator, said this at a briefing on November 22, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
"The biggest challenge is the vast mined territories. There are areas where one square meter needs to be demined for an hour, and our lines are tens of kilometers long. There is a large number of teams working - both sappers and energy workers who follow them. The work is not interrupted in general, so we start repairs, where it is already possible" he said.
He also explained that specialists are focused on restoring, first of all, the power transmission line that can be repaired as soon as possible and that will provide electricity to the region.
