Ukrainians will see that Ramstein worked in reports from frontline – analyst Lisnyi

He said this on Espreso TV channel.

"Each of the Ramstein meetings, I believe, is historical. But the current Ramstein already shows that our partners are moving from tactical to strategic goals. That is, this Ramstein will be based on shells, equipment, and aircraft issues, but our Western partners are already looking to the future, so this will be discussed much further," Lisnyi said.

The expert believes that we will not hear the details of the twelfth meeting of the Ramstein contact group on Ukraine's defence because we will find out when it appears on the battlefield.

"I believe that this will also be a breakthrough, but not a media breakthrough Ramstein. I really want Ukrainians to see the results of Ramstein in the reports from the frontline, and then we will understand that Ramstein has worked. I emphasise that Ramstein is moving into a strategic dimension, and this is very right, because this is how we can fight such a powerful state, a monster like Russia," the analyst said.

• The previous meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine Defense took place on 21 April.

• The main topic of the 11th meeting in the Ramstein format was the provision of anti-aircraft missiles to Ukraine's air defence systems.

• The meeting in the Ramstein format on 25 May focuses on strengthening Ukraine's air defence, providing ammunition and delivering F-16 fighter jets.
