Ukrainians 'evacuated' by Russian forces from Zaporizhzhia region are forbidden to return home – General Staff
Invading Russian forces that took the residents of Tokmak, Zaporizhzhia region, to Berdiansk, forbid people to return home
The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this.
“There is massive discontent among local residents from the temporarily occupied Tokmak, Zaporizhzhia region, who were 'evacuated' to Berdiansk by the Russian occupation administration. In particular, people complain that the Russians have placed them in terrible living conditions, in rooms without windows, lighting, warm water and furniture,” the General Staff wrote.
The occupying forces have banned the 'evacuated' citizens from returning to the town of Tokmak for an indefinite period of time.
The situation in the temporarily occupied territories
“Invading Russian forces continue to suffer heavy losses on the battlefield. As a result, the enemy is converting civilian educational institutions of the temporarily occupied territories into medical facilities. Thus, in Luhansk, the premises of three local hospitals have been fully equipped as military hospitals for wounded soldiers,” the General Staff wrote.
Under the pretext of evacuation, Russians continue to loot frontline settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. In Enerhodar, Russian soldiers completely looted all the city's medical institutions. In particular, all the city's medical equipment was taken to the temporarily occupied Simferopol.
All enterprises located in the industrial zone near the Zaporizhzhia NPP were also completely looted.
