The Western Regional Department of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine-Western Border shared the figures, Espreso.West reported.
More than 36,000 people left Ukraine last night. More than 22,000 of them crossed the Polish-Ukrainian border, the rest went to Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Moldova. At the same time, 37,000 people came to Ukraine in one day, more than 33,000 of them were Ukrainians.
"For almost a month, the number of citizens returning to Ukraine is greater than the number of those who go abroad," said border guards.
On June 8, almost 74,000 people crossed Ukraine's western borders with the EU and Moldova. 19,000 vehicles crossed the border.
Alao, 140 trucks with humanitarian aid were registered.
