Ukrainian troops repel 102 Russian attacks over the last day

The Russian army is trying to encircle Bakhmut, the General Staff of the Ukrainian armed forces reports. Russian troops are storming the city from the east, from the left bank of the Bakhmutivka river. Ukrainian defenders repelled numerous attacks on Bakhmut from the north in the areas of Zaliznyanske, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Dubovo-Vasylivka, and from the south near Ivanivske.

In the Avdiivka direction, Russian troops launched unsuccessful offensives near Krasnohorivka and Kamianka to break through to the north of Avdiivka, as well as near Vodiane and Pervomayske to the south of the city. 

In the Kurakhove direction, Ukrainian forces repelled attacks on Marinka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka and Vuhledar, Donetsk region. 

In Kupiansk and Lyman directions, Russian forces are trying to improve their tactical situation and shelling frontline villages: Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Hryanykivka, Kyslivka, Krokhmalne and Berestove in the Kharkiv region; Nevske, Dibrova and Chervonopopivka in the Luhansk region, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region.
