Ukrainian troops hit Russian air defense system and two military positions – General Staff
Units of missile troops and artillery hit Russian Tor missile system and two Russian military positions
The AFU General Staff reports this.
"Defense Forces Aviation hit the Russian anti-aircraft missile system and launched 6 strikes on Russian ammunition depots, military personnel, and equipment positions," the post reads.
Russian forces launch 1 missile strike, 7 air strikes, and 9 MLRS attacks over the day
The threat of Russia launching missile attacks across Ukraine remains high.
Northern and northeastern border with Belarus and Russia: during the day, Russian troops shelled 2 settlements in the Chernihiv region, 4 more in the Sumy region, and 9 others in the Kharkiv region.
Kupiansk and Lyman directions: Russian troops fired artillery at 5 settlements in the Kharkiv region, and 3 in the Luhansk region.
Bakhmut direction: more than 6 settlements in the Donetsk region were subjected to Russian attacks.
Avdiivka, Mariinka and Shakhtarsk directions: 9 settlements in the Donetsk region were under Russian fire.
Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions: 4 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region were shelled. The city of Kherson was shelled once again, as well as 5 other settlements in the Kherson region.
In the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region, Russians are checking the locals for Russian passports
"The Russian occupiers continue to exert psychological pressure on the local population in order to force them to obtain citizenship of the Russian Federation," the post reads.
It is noted that counterintelligence has been strengthened in the temporarily occupied Azovske of the Zaporizhzhia region. Thus, Russian occupation forces check the locals for Russian passports. Citizens without it are forced to put up with additional checks or detention.
Russian occupiers continue to commit looting, taking away homes of peaceful citizens of Ukraine.
"The village council in Strilkove, located in the temporarily occupied Kherson region, is developing an order for the forced, illegal seizure of homes belonging to Ukrainian citizens who were forced to leave the settlement. This action is being pushed by the village head and based on signatures collected from local deputies under duress. The plan is to allocate these homes for the Russian occupation army to house their servicemen," reports the General Staff.
