Ukrainian troops are enough to stabilize the situation - General Nayev on Kyiv offensive possibility
Lieutenant General Serhiy Nayev, commander of the AFU Joint Forces, said that the Russian army does not have sufficient resources to attack Kyiv and that the Ukrainian army is ready to stabilize the situation.
He told Ukrinform about this.
Nayev also emphasized that if Russia builds up its troops in Belarus, Ukraine will also increase the number of troops.
"As of now, the number of our troops is sufficient to carry out stabilization actions, if necessary. If the enemy increases the number of its troops, I will once again emphasize that we will mirror our numbers. And this work will be carried out constantly in order to equalize our forces," the commander noted.
The journalists also asked whether the enemy has enough resources to launch an offensive from three directions.
"Currently, they do not have such resources in our direction. I mean the entire northern operational area," emphasized Nayev.
