Ukrainian Pilot successfully ejects near Vinnytsia

This was reported on Telegram by the press service of the Air Force.

The pilot was performing a mission to destroy Shahed-136 kamikaze drones over Vinnytsia.

"This day, the pilot has already destroyed five drones: three - in the south of Ukraine and two - over Vinnytsia. And the day before, during massive rocket fire, he shot down two cruise missiles of the occupiers," the message says.

For unknown technical reasons, the pilot began to lose control of the plane, but managed to steer the plane away from Vinnytsia and ejected successfully.  The pilot feels well, the causes of the accident are being established.

The commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleschuk, initiated a petition to award the pilot the title of Hero of Ukraine.
