Ukrainian paratroopers eliminate about 20 soldiers during Russia’s assault near Bakhmut

This was reported by the Air Assault Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Several dozen Russian soldiers tried to recapture the positions of the Ukrainian 71st separate ranger brigade.

At that time, the fortifications were held by only a few soldiers who retreated to some distance, after which Russian troops were covered by Ukrainian artillery. Ukrainian fighters used a Maxxpro armored vehicle.

"After a successful fire attack, the assault unit of the Russian occupiers was finally destroyed by fire from armored combat vehicles and small arms," the press service writes.

After heavy fire from Ukrainian soldiers, Russian troops’ ammunition detonated.

The total losses of the Russian army as a result of the battle is about 20 soldiers.
