Ukrainian paramedic injured near Kupiansk due to Russian shelling
On December 18, as a result of Russian shelling in the Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region, a 31-year-old paramedic was injured while on duty
This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Synyehubov.
"The enemy continues shelling the settlements of the Kharkiv region located near the border with the Russian Federation and the contact line. Kupiansk district suffers the most from shelling," the head of the region wrote.
Yesterday Russian troops shelled the village of Kivsharivka, Kupyansk district. As a result, a 31-year-old paramedic received a shrapnel wound while on duty. The medic was hospitalized, his condition is assessed as light.
In Dvorichna village a private house and outbuildings were damaged as a result of Russian shelling.
Also during the day, Russian forces fired at the settlements of northeastern Ukraine, particularly Vovchansk, Chuhuiv district; Strilecha and Hlyboke, Kharkiv district; Novomlynsk, Kupyansk district, and others.
On December 18, pyrotechnics neutralized 218 explosive devices.
- On December 16, Russia attacked the Kharkiv region with 10 missiles, 2 of which were shot down by Ukrainian air defense forces. The massive enemy attack on the region began at 7 a.m., when an enemy S-300 missile hit a hospital in Kupyansk. As a result of the shelling, the hospital's infectious diseases department and pharmacy were damaged.
