Ukrainian offensive will be decisive in this war – military expert Dykyi
Military expert Yevhen Dykyi believes that the success of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' offensive this summer will determine the allies' further support for Ukraine
He expressed this opinion on the Espreso TV channel.
"This summer will be extremely difficult and at the same time decisive for Ukraine. The fact is that military support for Ukraine from the allies has reached a historic high. We have never been given as many weapons as we are now. However, these weapons are not enough for the tasks we need to perform," explained Dykyi.
The military expert emphasised that further military support for Ukraine depends on the Ukrainian offensive this summer.
"We may be forced into peace talks with Russia in the autumn if we fail to conduct a successful offensive this summer. That is why this summer will be crucial in this war. Obviously, our military leadership is planning a major offensive operation that will last at least five months. Based on the results of this operation, our allies will decide whether to increase their military assistance to Ukraine or whether they will start to convince us that we cannot defeat Russia," he added.
