"During the offensive in Chernihiv Oblast, the Russians used tactics of intimidation and mass pressure. They attacked in columns and thought they would reach Kyiv and conquer our capital. We destroyed all the logistical routes of the Russian troops and they simply got stuck with no fuel and ammunition," he emphasized.
Nikoliuk recalled that the enemy began retreating at the end of March until the beginning of May. During the offensive, Russians lost more than 50% of personnel.
According to him, now Ukraine’s Armed Forces are ready for various scenarios.
