Ukrainian marines target 29 Russian occupiers and BMP in Donetsk region

On October 23, Navy fighters targeted an infantry fighting vehicle and another 29 Russian invaders during the battle in Donetsk region.

This is reported by the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"On October 23, the military units and units of the Marine Command of the Naval Forces, which are part of the groups, continued to perform tasks related to repelling full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation," the press service writes.

It is reported that only in the past day in the Donetsk direction, a separate battalion of marines, during the restoration of previously lost positions, targeted 29 Russian occupiers and BMP of the Russian army.

The gunners also inflicted fire damage on units of the Russian invaders in the territory of Ukraine.

"The final losses of the enemy are being verified," the Navy added.

• During October 23, Ukrainian aviation carried out 11 strikes on enemy concentration points, and missile forces and artillery hit four control points, four ammunition depots and an anti-aircraft missile complex.
• The Armed Forces performed 130 fire missions per day and destroyed the Russian station "Zoopark-1" in the Kherson region.
• The General Staff confirmed the destruction of three enemy BM-21 Grad and the evacuation of 70 wounded occupiers in Zaporizhzhya.
