Ukrainian marines destroy 12 Russian soldiers, infantry fighting vehicle, Nona artillery gun

The Ukrainian Marine Corps Command reported the information on its official Facebook page.

"Military units and subunits of the Naval Infantry Command of the Ukrainian Navy continue repelling the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. Yesterday, on January 17, the marines destroyed an infantry fighting vehicle and 9 Russian occupiers," the marines wrote.

Russia’s losses were also caused by Ukrainian artillery shelling. A Russian Nona self-propelled artillery gun, a command and control vehicle and 3 Russian soldiers were eliminated.

The total losses of Russian forces are being clarified.
