Ukrainian IT sector shows 27% growth in 5 months, more than Russian gas in best times
The IT sector has become the only sector that showed growth despite the war. The head of the parliamentary committee on finance, tax and customs policy Danylo Hetmantsev shared the figures in his Telegram channel

"In January-May, the IT sector became the only area that demonstrated an increase in production volumes by 27% (according to data from the Opendatabot platform). In the first five months, USD 3.18 billion worth of IT products and services were exported," wrote Hetmantsev.
He emphasized that in less than six months, IT exports received more than Ukraine earned in the best periods of the year from the transit of Russian gas.
"And the potential for further development is practically inexhaustible," added the People's Deputy.
In 2021, more than 44 thousand new FOP programmers entered the industry, this is a record among all spheres of activity, Gentmantsev noted.
