Ukrainian IT army carries out cyber attacks on Russian Pension Fund online resources, paralyzes Russian post office

Ukrainian cyber forces have blocked more than 600 Russian online resources in two weeks of August: the Russians had problems with online banking and it was impossible to send or receive parcels

The Ukrainian Ministry of Digitization made an announcement in its Telegram channel.

Such cyberattacks on online resources manage to shake all important spheres of life in the Russian Federation. This weakens their economy and war sponsorship.

In particular, a powerful cyber attack completely paralyzed the work of the Russian national postal operator. It was impossible to use postal services, send or receive a package, etc. The cyberattack paralyzed the work of the state post office and prevented revenue that could supplement the country's budget and produce another enemy missile.

The Russian Pension Fund also suffered a cyber attack. As a result, families of soldiers did not receive payments and compensation for their dead or alive killers who participated in the war against Ukraine.

Online banking was also affected: clients of many Russian banks were unable to carry out the desired financial transactions from a smartphone.

Another target for the Ukrainian IT army is video conferencing platforms. After the withdrawal of global companies from the Russian market, including platforms for video communication, the Russians were left with nothing, and therefore created their own analogues. However, the IT army also blocked access for video conferences, which did not work successfully.
