Ukrainian intelligence confirms Biden's statement about Russian losses in Bakhmut
Ukrainian Defense Intelligence confirmed that Russia lost more than 100,000 soldiers in Bakhmut
Andrii Yusov, Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense representative, stated this during the telethon.
Yusov verified the accuracy of the information and explained that the disparity lies in the presentation of data. One approach combines total losses, including killed and wounded, while the other approach separates the number of eliminated and wounded individuals. Additionally, there is a difference in the timeframe for which these data are provided.
"In general, there is continuous information exchange between Ukraine and our allies, and there are no inconsistencies in these figures. The Russian losses in Bakhmut are indeed enormous. They do not align with the objectives set or the outcomes achieved," he concluded.
