Ukrainian forces say Russia makes mistakes by moving reserves from different directions

Colonel Oleksandr Shtupun, spokesman for the Tavride Defense Forces, said that Ukrainian commanders are trying to improve the tactical situation on the frontline

He said this on the air of the Espreso TV channel.

"Scheduled combat activities are underway in Opytne, the tactical situation is quite volatile. In the area of Avdiivka, a Russian enemy is trying to break through to the north of the city, but without success. The Russian enemy continues infantry assaults in the area of Marinka. Our soldiers are successfully targeting Russian invaders," emphasized Shtupun.

According to him, Russia is trying to transfer reserves from one direction to another, thus making mistakes.

"Taking advantage of Russian enemy's weakening, our commanders on the ground are trying to improve their tactical position," added Shtupun.

Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated 2 square kilometers in the Bakhmut sector last week

"Over the past week, the liberated territory there (in the Bakhmut sector - ed.) amounted to about 2 square kilometers," said Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Maliar.

She added that during the offensive campaign near Bakhmut, 49 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory have been liberated so far.

In addition, in this area, the Defense Forces were successful in the area of Klishchiyivka and Andriyivka.

According to Maliar, Ukrainian defenders pushed the enemy out of their positions, so there is some progress.

On September 11, Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Maliar confirmed the liberation of a part of Opytne near Avdiivka, Donetsk region.
