This was reported by Serhiy Naiev, commander of the Vuhledar tactical troop grouping.

According to him, around 10,000 Russian troops were eliminated in the grouping’s area of responsibility over the past month.

Ukrainian forces also managed to reduce their own losses and strengthen their tactical positions in several zones.

"Thanks to a well-structured defense by the Vuhledar group and solid coordination with brigade commanders, we're holding the line and pushing back the enemy in all critical directions. We've cut our losses by 15%, and in three key areas, we've improved our tactical position," Naiev reported.

At the same time, the commander added that Russia’s main goal over the past month was to push through to the administrative border between the Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions. In total, Russian forces launched 1,916 assaults, used over 16,000 FPV drones, and more than 8,000 aerial drops in the group’s zone during the month.

One of the recent large-scale assaults by Russian forces took place in the Novopavlivka sector.

"Five tanks, 12 armored vehicles, 25 motorcycles – entire columns moved in from three directions. But our aerial scouts spotted them 5–10 kilometers out. We turned their armor and equipment into burning scrap. After our fire strike and the work of kamikaze drones, over 70 soldiers, 2 tanks, 6 armored vehicles, 2 cars, and 14 motorcycles were destroyed," Naiev said.

  • In the last 24 hours, on May 14, there were 168 combat clashes on the Russian-Ukrainian front. In the Pokrovsk direction alone, Ukrainian troops repelled 74 Russian assaults.
