Propaganda publications allege that the Armed Forces of Ukraine targeted Berdyansk with Storm Shadow missiles.
The Mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, also conveyed this information via telegram, highlighting the unrest among the occupiers in the deep rear: “Military bases are exploding, and their supposedly "precise" anti-aircraft defense appears to be struggling.” Fedorov wrote that a series of powerful explosions occurred at 4 o'clock in the morning, shaking the invaders in Berdyansk. The impact was so significant that even residents of neighboring settlements to the north of the city heard the explosions.
Furthermore, he mentioned that the occupiers had reported "successful air defense operations" on their channels, but local residents observed fire and dense smoke in the vicinity of the captured airport.
