Ukrainian forces hit 14 Russian artillery units and one Su-25 — General Staff
Ukrainian troops hit a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft, 14 artillery units holding firing positions and other 18 major enemy targets
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported about this in the morning briefing on June 7.
Russian troops keep trying to seize Luhansk and Donetsk regions completely. Over the past day, more than 30 combat clashes occurred along the front lines. Additionally, the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out 17 airstrikes on areas with concentrated enemy personnel and 4 strikes on occupied anti-aircraft missile complexes.
Furthermore, missile troops and artillery units successfully hit 9 command centers, 4 locations with concentrated enemy forces and military equipment, 3 ammunition depots, an anti-aircraft missile complex, 14 artillery units in firing positions, and 18 other significant enemy targets. The Armed Forces also neutralized a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft and 4 reconnaissance UAVs.
Russians launched 35 missile strikes, 41 air strikes and 57 MLRS attacks against Ukraine
The Russian Federation persistently engages in aggressive war, disregarding its casualties. In pursuit of its objectives, it employs terror tactics and conducts strikes on civilian targets, including residential areas.
On June 6, the enemy army initiated 35 missile strikes utilizing Kh-101/Kh-555 air-based cruise missiles. However, all of these missiles were successfully neutralized by the air defense forces of the Ukrainian Air Force.
Additionally, the Russians launched 41 airstrikes and launched 57 MLRS attacks. These attacks have resulted in casualties among the civilian population and significant damage to residential apartment buildings, private houses, and other civilian infrastructure.
The likelihood of further missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains considerable.
Furthermore, Russian terrorists committed yet another war crime by detonating the internal structures of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP) to impede the advancement of our troops. This act of terrorism has resulted in approximately 80 settlements falling within the flood zone.
Situation by directions

On the northeastern border with Russia, Russian troops maintain military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine.
Over the past day, they launched an air strike near 1 settlement in the Kharkiv region.
Furthermore, Russian forces launched mortar and artillery attacks, targeting more than 40 settlements across Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv region.
In the Kupyansk direction, 10 settlements across Kharkiv and Luhansk regions came under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Lyman direction, Russian troops launched an unsuccessful assault near 3 areas over the past day.
They carried out air strikes near 6 settlements in Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Six settlements across the regions came under artillery fire.
In the Bakhmut direction, Russian troops launched an unsuccessful assault near Klishchiivka.
Russian troops launched an air strike near Bila Hora. They also shelled 13 settlements in the Donetsk region with artillery.
In the Avdiivka direction, Russian troops did not launch any assaults.
The Russian army also launched air strikes near Avdiivka in the Donetsk region and shelled 7 settlements with artillery.
In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled numerous attacks near the town of Marinka. Russia suffered significant losses in manpower and equipment.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian troops launched air strikes on 4 settlements. They also shelled 4 more settlements.
In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, Russian forces are on the defensive.
They carried out an air strike on a settlement in the Zaporizhizhia region.
Russian forces shelled 16 settlements across Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Kherson regions.
