Ukrainian forces carry out 11 strikes on Russian army manpower and military equipment positions, shoot down 2 UAVs

The General Staff reported this on Facebook.

Two enemy reconnaissance UAVs of the Merlin type and one Orlan-10 were shot down.

Russians launch 28 airstrikes against Ukraine

As per the post, the occupiers conducted 28 airstrikes and approximately 10 rocket salvo attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. This resulted in civilian casualties and damage to private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure.

The enemy is focusing on the Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka regions

Ukrainian defense units successfully repelled over 45 enemy attacks in these specific areas of the front during the day.

On the northern and northeastern border with Belarus and Russia, the operational situation remains unchanged. 

Russian forces fired at 1 settlement in the Sumy region and 6 more in the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupiansk direction, 6 settlements in the Kharkiv region came under Russian artillery fire.

In the Lyman direction, Russian troops shelled 3 settlements in the Luhansk region and 3 more in the Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Russian forces are on the offensive. Heavy fighting continues for the city of Bakhmut. Russian forces launched unsuccessful assaults near 2 settlements. They shelled more than 10 settlements in the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, Russian troops fired at 6 settlements in the Donetsk region.

In the Marinka direction, 5 settlements in the Donetsk region came under Russian fire.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian troops shelled 5 settlements in the Donetsk region.

In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, Russian forces fired at more than 35 settlements in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.

The Russian occupying forces are suffering heavy losses on the battlefield, and all medical facilities in the temporarily occupied territory are filled with wounded occupiers. As a result, the invaders are resorting to using educational institutions in the area for their own purposes. 

For instance, in the village of Mistky, Luhansk region, the invaders have converted a local school into a military hospital where a significant number of wounded Russians are receiving treatment.

However, there is a shortage of medicines and dressing materials in all the medical facilities of the occupiers, as per the reports.

In contrast, the servicemen of the Russian armed forces and representatives of the Wagner PMC have not achieved significant progress on the battlefield, and they are increasingly blaming each other for their tactical miscalculations and losses. Recently, a fight broke out between servicemen of the Russian armed forces and mercenaries of the Wagner PMC in the village of Stanytsia Luhanska, Luhansk region, resulting in casualties on both sides.
