Ukrainian fighters repel Russian army attacks in 10 cities and villages, 27 settlements are affected

On October 4, Russian forces launched 9 missile and 6 air strikes, and conducted more than 56 rounds of anti-aircraft fire. Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled Russian attacks in 10 settlements, among them - Zelene, Mayorsk, Spirne, Zaitseve, Bakhmut, and Novomykhailivka.

Russians try to hold the temporarily captured territories, concentrate efforts on attempts to disrupt the active operations of Ukrainian Defense Forces in certain directions, and do not stop conducting offensive operations in the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions.

Russian occupying forces regroupe units of their troops in separate directions.

Russia shells the positions of Ukrainian troops along the contact line, carries out remote mining of certain areas of the territory and conducts aerial reconnaissance. Strikes civilian infrastructure and civilian homes, violating international humanitarian law, laws and customs of war.

There remains the threat of air and missile strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine. For example, Russians launched 9 missile and 6 air strikes, conducted more than 56 attacks from multiple missile systems in the last 24 hours.

The objects and civilian population of more than 27 settlements, including Kharkiv, Shipuvate, Kramatorsk, Bakhmut, Mayorsk, Gulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Andriyivka, Bilogirka, Voznesensk, Prydniprovske, were damaged by Russian strikes.

There are no significant changes in the situation in the Volyn and Poliske directions. Russians shelled other directions:

in the Seversky direction - from barrel artillery, in Pysarivka and Golyshivske in the Sumy region;

in the Slobozhansk direction - from tanks, mortars, barrel and jet artillery, in Graniv, Ohirtseve, Gatyshche, Vovchansk and Bely Kolodyazna;

in the Kramatorsk direction - from mortars,  barrel and rocket artillery, in Bilogorivka, Serebryanka and Spirne.

In the direction of Bakhmut, Russians shell Soledar, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Odradivka, Zaytseve, Opytne, Yakovlivka and Yuryivka.

In the Avdiivka, Novopavlivsk and Zaporizhzhia directions, the infrastructure of more than 24 settlements was damaged by Russian shelling from tanks, mortars, barrel and rocket artillery, including: Avdiivka, Vodyane, Maryinka, Novopil, Olgivske, Pervomaiske.

Units of Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled Russian attacks in Strelecha, Zelene, Mayorsk, Spirne, Zaytseve, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Kurdyumivka, Novomykhailivka, and Vugledar in the last 24 hours.
