Ukrainian Defense Forces succeed in 2 areas of southern front

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the information.

Specifically, progress has been made in the Novodanilivka-Novoprokopivka and Mala Tokmachka-Ocheretuvate areas. Ukrainian forces have successfully advanced in these areas, solidifying their positions along the attained lines. They have also been effectively engaging in artillery strikes against identified enemy targets and executing counter-battery measures.

Meanwhile, in the Bakhmut direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces carry out offensive operations south of Bakhmut, consolidating their positions.

In addition, the Ukrainian Defense Forces hold back the offensive of Russian troops in the Kupyansk, Lyman, and Bakhmut directions. Heavy fighting continues.

In turn, Russian forces launched unsuccessful offensives near Avdiivka, Marinka, and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk region. They are suffering significant losses in personnel, weapons, and equipment, are relocating units and troops, and are actively using reserves.
