Ukrainian Defense Forces destroy 580 Russian soldiers and 12 tanks, General Staff reports

Russian losses reached 252,780 people killed 

Over the past day, the Russian Federation has lost:

Russia launched 5 missile and 61 air strikes

Over the past day, the Russian Forces launched 5 missiles and 61 air strikes, fired 70 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, civilians were killed and wounded, residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed.

Ukrainian Armed Forces struck 12 areas of Russian manpower concentration

There were 34 combat clashes during the day. Over the past day, the aviation of the defense forces carried out 10 strikes on the areas of hostile personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration, 2 - on Russia's anti-aircraft missile system. Also, Ukraine's defenders destroyed 7 enemy attack UAVs of the Shahed-136 type yesterday.

Over the past day, missile and artillery units destroyed 4 artillery units at firing positions, 2 areas of personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration, 2 electronic warfare stations and a Russian communication center.

Situation in different regions of Ukraine 

On the northeastern border with Russia, the Russian troops launched air strikes in the areas of 4 settlements in the Sumy region. They fired mortar and artillery shells at more than 25 localities in Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions.

In the Kupyansk direction, the invaders conducted unsuccessful offensives in the area of Nadiya and south of Novoselivske in the Luhansk region. More than 15 localities in the Kharkiv region were subjected to artillery and mortar attacks.

In the Lyman direction, the Russian army conducted air strikes in the areas of 3 localities in Luhansk region and 1 in Donetsk region. 2 settlements in the Luhansk region and 4 in the Donetsk region came under artillery fire.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Russian enemy launched unsuccessful offensives near Bohdanivka, Donetsk region. More than 15 localities in the Donetsk region suffered from hostile artillery shelling.

In the Avdiivka direction, under heavy fire from enemy aircraft and artillery, Ukraine's defenders continue to hold back the Russian offensive near Avdiivka in Donetsk region. The Russian occupiers launched an airstrike near Seiverne, Donetsk region. More than 10 localities suffered from artillery shelling.

In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian defense forces continue to hold back the Russian offensive near the town of Marinka in Donetsk region. More than 10 localities of the region underwent artillery shelling.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the Russian forces made unsuccessful attempts to regain the lost position near Staromayorske, Donetsk region. They conducted an air strike near this settlement. In addition, 7 more localities in the Donetsk region were shelled with artillery.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Russian army launched an airstrike in the area of Mala Tokmachka, Zaporizhzhia region. More than 15 localities in the region have come under artillery fire, as well as Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk region.

In the Kherson direction, the enemy attacked from the air near Kozatske in the Kherson region. More than 20 localities faced artillery shelling in the Kherson region and the city of Kherson, as well as Kutsurub, Ochakiv and Dmytrivka in the Mykolaiv region.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct offensive operations in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions, consolidating their positions and conducting counter-battery operations.

On the border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed.
