Ukrainian counteroffensive will begin after May 2 - Prigozhin
The Wagner PMC founder, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces' counteroffensive will begin after May 2, when the rains end
This was reported by his press service.
“It's raining today, the last rain is due on May 2, and we need another week for the wind to dry the soil. After that, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be ready to move,” he said.
Prigozhin noted that the offensive could take place on May 9, although he emphasized that it is a Russian tradition to use holidays during military operations.
“Will they do it on May 9 to 'spoil' the holiday? Maybe so. Or maybe not, it's only in Russia that we do everything on holidays. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are ready to go all out and cut the flanks, and no one has covered our flanks,” he said.
