Ukrainian children from Zaporizhzhia region taken to Belarus, among other places – lawyer Rashevska

Kateryna Rashevska, a lawyer of the Regional Center for Human Rights, said this on Espreso.

“We are talking about hundreds of thousands of children since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. We used to work with the figure of 260,000 children, but due to the events in the Zaporizhzhia region, the number is much higher. The children were transferred to 57 regions of the Russian Federation, and some of them are still there. Also, to the occupied Crimea, to the occupied Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and we should pay special attention to the territory of Belarus. Currently, children from the occupied Zaporizhzhia region are also being taken to the territory of Belarus,” she said.
