Ukrainian boxer from Brovary Andriy Yarchevsky was killed in the war against Russia

Since the spring of 2022, Andriy Yarchevsky has been defending Ukraine's borders on the southern front as part of the Azov Regiment. In August 2023, he joined the Offensive Guard, where he was a mortar gunner.
24-year-old Andriy Yarchevsky died heroically, covering his comrades near the village of Dibrova, Luhansk region.
Born in Brovary, Andriy Yarchevsky has been boxing since childhood, but did not have time to make his professional debut.
- In September, Serhiy Riznyk, the brother of Shakhtar Donetsk goalkeeper Dmytro Riznyk, was killed in the war.
