Ukrainian border snipers kill Russian commander near Bakhmut

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine noted that a border sniper group, being in one of the directions near Bakhmut, stopped the advance of Russian infantry.
"Ukrainian snipers, observing Russian troops, killed the head of the unit. Border guards killed the Russian commander and machine gunner with well-aimed shots. Russian occupying forces, having lost control of the unit, were afraid to attack and fled," the message says.

On January 4, it was reported that Ukrainian defenders killed four more Russian terrorists who fought against Ukraine: Major Nikolay Goncharov, Captain Yuriy Lavrientiev, Senior Lieutenant Khyshikto Danzhurov and Lieutenant Aleksandr Tumakov.
