This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
According to the border guards, Russian troops launched a series of assault attacks on the positions of Ukraine’s defenders on the outskirts of Bakhmut in the evening of March 7. The battle lasted with short breaks until the morning. Enemy infantrymen were supported by artillery and multiple rocket launchers, and the enemy also used cluster munitions.
To eliminate the enemy, Ukrainian troops used mortar calculations and aerial reconnaissance, and in direct confrontation with the enemy, they used small arms.
