Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 4 Russian assaults in Bakhmut and eliminated 13 Russian fighters overnight
Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service reported the information.
"During the day, border guards repelled 4 attacks and eliminated 13 Russian occupiers in Bakhmut," the statement said.
Russian troops reportedly attacked 3 times at night, and made another attempt to break through during the day. Their infantry waves were countered by the border guards with small arms fire, and one of the Russian assault groups was defeated with grenades.
"All enemy attempts to break through the defense line were in vain. Estimated enemy losses amounted to 13 people: 6 were killed and 7 were wounded," the State Border Guard Service said.

Russian troops storm in the Bakhmut direction and are advancing west of Dubovo-Vasylivka, while Wagner PMC mercenaries have allegedly seized the Bakhmut-2 railway station in the city center.
