Ukrainian border guards in Bakhmut and Luhansk region repel Russian assaults, neutralizing their soldiers
On the night of March 22, soldiers of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine repelled enemy attacks in the Luhansk region and in the city of Bakhmut, Donetsk region
This was reported by the State Border Guard Service.
"Last night, a group of Wagner mercenaries tried to break through the defense of Ukrainian positions in Bakhmut and were once again defeated," the press service informed.
The border guards reportedly pushed the Russian invaders out with small arms. As a result, five Russian soldiers were wounded and one was killed.
Also at night in the Luhansk region, enemy infantry tried to launch a surprise attack.
"Using a thermal imager, the defenders detected the enemy and covered them with heavy fire from assault rifles and machine guns," the border guards emphasized.
The Russian forces retreated, Ukrainian border guards neutralized three more enemies and wounded several others.
