Ukrainian army will target Russian rear areas in coming weeks – military expert Svitan
Reserve colonel with the Ukrainian Armed Forces, military expert Roman Svitan believes that before the offensive, the AFU will target areas behind Russian enemy lines
He shared his opinions with Espreso TV.
"For a few days before the offensive, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will target Russian rear areas with long-range systems. There will be massive strikes behind the Russian enemy lines with drones, M31 missiles, JDAM-ER guided bombs," Svitan said.
According to the military expert, Ukraine will receive several other types of weapons that have not been announced, but have been hinted at by its partners for a long time.
"In the next few weeks, we will start burning the Russian rear out. After that, the artillery will join in to carry out the so-called firewall. The Ukrainian Armed Forces will start moving in the directions determined by our command. The week we have entered will be a turning point," emphasized Svitan.
