Ukrainian army repels Russian attacks in Tavria sector, holds line in Avdiivka sector
In the Tavria sector, the invading Russian forces launched 1 airstrike, 1 missile strike, fired 544 artillery rounds, and conducted 29 combat engagements
General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi wrote about this on Telegram.
According to him, Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding the line in the Avdiivka sector.
“Total enemy losses amounted to 283 soldiers. 3 Russian servicemen surrendered. 8 units of military equipment were destroyed, in particular, 1 armored personnel carrier, 4 UAVs, and 3 cars. One munitions depot was also destroyed,” the general wrote.
At the same time, an offensive operation continues in the Melitopol sector.
“Invading Russian forces continue to use anti-personnel mines prohibited by international agreements, in particular POM-2, on the territory of Ukraine,” he added.
