The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the information.

75 military clashes take place in a day

Russia attacked civilian houses in the village of Velykyi Burluk, Kharkiv region, with an S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile. 

At night, Russian troops attacked the southern regions with 36 Shahed-136/131 UAVs. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 27 Shaheds.

Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in deaths and injuries among the civilian population. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains difficult.

In the area of the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed. 

In the northeastern border area, Russian forces maintain a grouping of troops covering the state border, continue shelling populated areas from the territory of Russia, and increase the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine.

Russian troops carried out air strikes near one settlement in the Chernihiv region; two in the Sumy region; and 3 in the Kharkiv region. About 15 settlements came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.

In Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 16 attacks near Synkivka and 5 attacks near Ivanivka, Kharkiv region. Three villages in the Kharkiv region were hit by air strikes. Russian troops shelled over 15 settlements with artillery and mortars.

In Lyman direction, Russian troops deployed aviation to strike at the positions of Ukrainian troops near Serebryanka forestry (southwest of Kreminna, Luhansk region). Also, 2 settlements in Luhansk and Donets regions were subjected to air strikes. In addition, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 5 attacks near Makiivka, Luhansk region. Over 10 settlements suffered from Russian artillery and mortar attacks.

In Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian forces repelled attacks near 3 settlements in the Donetsk region. Russian troops also launched air strikes. Over 20 settlements came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.

In Avdiivka direction, Russian troops, with up to 3 battalions supported by tanks and armored vehicles, intensified offensive actions near Avdiivka and 3 other settlements in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled all attacks, preventing the loss of borders and positions. About 10 settlements came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.

In Marinka direction, Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully repelled 9 attacks over the last day. Russia launched an air strike near Novomykhailivka. About 10 settlements were under Russian fire.

In Shakhtarsk direction, Russian troops conducted an air strike near Staromayorske, Donetsk region. About 10 settlements came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.

In Zaporizhzhia direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled attacks near 2 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. Russian troops launched an air strike near Novodanylivka, Zaporizhzhia region. About 30 settlements came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.

In Kherson direction, the city of Kherson and 2 other settlements came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces are conducting an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, offensive (assault) operations in the Bakhmut direction, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying forces, consolidating their positions and exhausting Russian troops.

Ukrainian aviation launches 11 strikes on concentrations of Russian personnel, weapons, military equipment 

Ukrainian aviation also carried out 5 strikes on Russian anti-aircraft missile systems. Ukrainian defenders also destroyed a Russian Su-25 fighter jet and 7 tactical reconnaissance UAVs.

Also, Ukrainian missile troops hit a Russian control center, an ammunition depot, 3 concentrations of personnel, weapons and military equipment, 7 artillery pieces and an electronic warfare station.

• On October 10, Russians attacked the village of Uhroidy, Sumy region. A 13-year-old child was injured and died in an ambulance
