Ukrainian Armed try to advance toward Volnovakha, Donetsk region
In the Donetsk region, fighting continues for the village of Staromayorske, where Russian troops are still stationed, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to advance toward Volnovakha, which is currently serving as a transportation hub for the invaders
This was stated by Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman Oleksandr Voitko on Espreso TV.
"We can talk about the direction Velyka Novosilka - Vuhledar - this is the south of Donetsk region. In the direction of Velyka Novosilka, fighting for Staromayorske continues, Russian occupants are still in this settlement, but our units are trying to move further south," he noted.
Regarding the Vuhledar direction, the military noted that intense fighting is also ongoing there, but the enemy has gathered a very large group of troops because Volnovakha is not far away, which serves as an important transportation hub for them, especially after the Crimean bridge was blown up.
Voitko added that there are no significant advances in the Vuhledar direction, but the enemy is also suffering significant losses in personnel and equipment, and Ukrainian troops are trying to advance toward Volnovakha.
