"The Air Defense Forces of Ukraine are quite successful in destroying the Shahed-136 kamikaze drones, but the use of air defense systems against cheap drones is not quite the optimal solution. Putin and his entourage are now focused on intensifying terror against the civilian population and pushing the military-political leadership of Ukraine to the start of negotiations or a pause at the front," Zgurets said.
According to the expert, any pause at the front is now inappropriate.
"The Armed Forces are trying to recapture as many occupied territories as possible. We must not give the enemy any respite, although this is a significant burden on the Armed Forces. The coming months are important from the point of view of completely destroying Putin's plans," Zgurets added.
