Oleksiy Dmytrashkivskyi, Defense Forces spokesman in the Tavria region, stated this on Espreso.
“In the Zaporizhzhia direction, we are not currently conducting assault actions, but rather fighting for more advantageous positions. Although a recent assault was carried out on a Russian position to gain a better position, this cannot be considered a serious counteroffensive. We are gradually developing counteroffensive actions and attempting to take advantageous positions. Although the enemy is resisting, it will not be able to hold out much longer. Despite the trenches and fortifications they have constructed, they will not need them soon," he explained.
