Ukrainian Armed Forces repel Russian attacks near 17 towns and villages. Russian military order Rosneft factory uniforms - AFU General Staff

This was reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the morning report on January 13.

On January 12, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled the attacks of the Russian army in three settlements of the Luhansk region and fourteen of the Donetsk region.

Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down Russian aircraft and a drone. They hit 28 of Russia’s concentration areas

Over the past day, the aviation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted 16 strikes on Russia's concentration areas and 5 strikes on the positions of its anti-aircraft missile systems.

At the same time, our defenders shot down an enemy Su-25 aircraft and an Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle.

Ukrainian missile troops and artillery units hit 3 control points, 12 manpower concentration areas, Russian military equipment, S-300 anti-aircraft missile system, 3 ammunition depots and 3 other critical Russian objects.

Overalls with Rosneft and Elektrostal factories’ logos were ordered for a Russian troops unit in the Vuhledar direction

It became known about the order of civilian uniforms with the logos of Rosneft and Elektrostal factories for one Russian soldiers’ unit operating in the Vuhledar direction of Donetsk region’s Volnovakha district. 

"It is obvious that for a certain purpose, the enemy is trying to hide its affiliation with the Russian troops," the General Staff emphasizes.

Russian forces conduct filtration in Zaporizhzhia and house-to-house visits in the occupied Kherson region

Russian forces continue to exert pressure on the temporarily occupied territory’s local population of the Kherson region, who refuse to cooperate with the occupation authorities and make house-to-house visits. 

The General Staff notes that the Russian forces are concerned about the pro-Ukrainian attitude of the citizens of the region, which poses a threat to them.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, Russian forces conduct filtration measures. During the inspection, the occupants pay special attention to telephones, seeking confirmation of cooperation with the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Russia launched 5 missile and 18 air strikes on Ukrainian territory over the last day

Russia launched 5 missile strikes on Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk and Zaporizhzhia cities. Russian forces also carried out 52 attacks from MLRS and 18 air strikes.

The situation in the areas

Near the northern and northeastern Ukrainian borders no signs of the Russian offensive groups' formation were detected.

Specific units of the armed forces of Belarus and Russia continue to perform tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine.

In the northern border with Russia, two settlements in the Chernihiv region, two in the Sumy region and nine in the Kharkiv region were shelled.

In the Kupyansk direction, ten settlements in the Kharkiv region and one in the Luhansk region were hit by fire.

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces fired at five settlements in the Luhansk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, thirteen settlements in the Donetsk region were hit by fire.

In the Avdiivka direction of the Donetsk region, four settlements were shelled.

In the Vuhledar direction, three settlements in the Donetsk region came under fire.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian forces fired from tanks, mortars, a cannon and missile artillery at two settlements in the Donetsk region and nine in the Zaporizhzhia region.

In particular, Antonivka and Kherson were subjected to mortar and artillery shelling in the Kherson direction.
