Ukrainian Armed Forces repel Russian attacks in the districts of Zaytseve, Bakhmut, Krasnohorivka, and Vodyanyi

"The enemy continues to focus its efforts on establishing control over the territory of the Donetsk region, holding the temporarily captured territories and disrupting the offensive of Ukrainian troops in certain directions," the message says.

Russians continue to carry out aerial reconnaissance and inflict fire damage on units of the Ukrainian troops, try to take measures to restore the lost position, and conduct the movement of its troops. A further threat of air and missile strikes remains on the entire territory of Ukraine.

The General Staff emphasizes that Russian occupiers continue its tactics of terror and intimidation of the civilian population. The cities of Kharkiv and Lozova were hit. Airstrikes and shelling from anti-aircraft missiles damaged the infrastructure in the districts of the settlements of Bilogorivka, Vesela Dolyna, Zaytseve, Yuryivka, New York, Pervomaiske, Kamyanka, Stepove, Mali Shcherbaky, Sukhy Stavok, Kostromka, Bila Krynytsia, and Myrne.

In general, Russian occupiers launched 2 missile strikes, 25 airstrikes, and carried out 11 attacks from multiple rocket systems on military and civilian objects on the territory of Ukraine in the last 24 hours.

The situation in the Volyn and Poliske directions has not changed significantly.

In other directions, the enemy shelled the infrastructure with mortars, tanks, combat vehicles, barrel and rocket artillery:

in the Seversky direction - near Atynsky and Stukalyvka, Sumy region;

in the Kharkiv direction - in the districts of Kozacha Lopan, Baranivka and Kupiansk;

in the Kramatorsk direction - in the districts of the settlements of Pryshyb, Bilogorivka, Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, Staryi Karavan, Starodubivka, Spirne, Rozdolivka and Hryhorivka;

in the Bakhmut direction - in the districts of the settlements of Sukha Balka, Mykolaivka Druga, Zaitseve, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Vesela Dolyna;

in the Avdiyivka direction - in the settlements of Avdiivka, Orlivka, Lastochkine, Krasnohorivka, Vodyane, Maryinka and Novomykhailivka;

in the Novopavlovsk direction - near Vugledar, Prechistivka, Novoukrainka and Vremivka

in the Zaporozhzhia region - in the districts of Kamyanske, Mala Tokmachka, Shcherbaky, Charivne, Nesteryanka, Orihiv, Biloghirya, Zaliznychne, Temyrivka, Novopil and Vremivka settlements.

Russian artillery shelling along the contact line was recorded in the South Buzk direction. In addition, the enemy conducted aerial reconnaissance with drones - made 23 combat flights.

Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled Russian attacks in the districts of Zaitseve, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Krasnohorivka, Vodyane, Bezimenne and Novogrigorivka settlements.

The aviation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched 9 strikes - damage was inflicted on 7 strongholds and places where Russian manpower and equipment were concentrated, and 2 positions of its anti-aircraft missile systems were destroyed in the last 24 hours. Losses of manpower and equipment of the occupiers are being clarified.

Ukrainian units of missile forces and artillery hit control points, areas where Russian manpower and combat equipment are concentrated. The radio-electronic warfare complex, the "Zoopark" radar station, artillery units and ammunition depots were hit as well in the last 24 hours.
