Ukrainian Armed Forces repel Russian attacks in the 9 settlements

" Russians continue to focus their efforts on attempts to fully occupy the Donetsk region, organize defense and maintain the captured territories, as well as disrupt the active actions of Ukrainian Defense Forces in certain directions. They take measures to regroup their troops, constantly conduct aerial reconnaissance, and fire at the positions of Ukrainian troops along the contact line."  , - the message says.

Russians launched 8 missile and 35 air strikes, launched more than 120 rocket attacks on objects on the territory of Ukraine in the last 24 hours, violating the norms of international humanitarian law, laws and customs of war.

 As a result of Russian shelling, the infrastructure of more than 50 settlements was damaged in the last 24 hours. Among them are Oskil, Slovyansk, Siversk, Oleksandrivka, Soledar, Bakhmut, Velyka Novosilka, Vremivka, Vugledar, Stepne, Zaporizhzhia, Nikopol and Ochakiv.  The enemy tried to hit the Slovyansk TPP with strikes on the city of Mykolaivka.

The threat of Russian air and missile strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains.

The situation has not changed in the Volyn and Poliske directions.  In other directions, the enemy continues shelling from tanks, mortars and artillery of various types:

in the Seversky direction - in Zaliznyi Myst, Mykhailove and Huta-Studenetska settlements of the Chernihiv region and Sosnivka, Golyshivske, Yunakivka and Turya of the Sumy region;  

in the Slobozhansk direction - in Veterinarne, Hoptivka, Hlyboke, Dergachi, Hrushivka, Kupyansk and Kamianka settlements;

in the Kramatorsk direction – Donetske, Studenok, Yarova, Tetyanivka, Bogorodichne, Pryshyb, Shchurove, Stary Karavan, Raihorodok, Mykolaivka, Rozdolivka, Oleksandrivka and Hryhorivkana;

 in the Bakhmut direction – Siversk, Verkhnyokamianske, Vyimka, Vesele, Belogorivka, Yakovlivka,  Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Odradivka, Mykolayivka Druga, Zaitseve, Sukha Balka, Yuryivka and New York;

in the Avdiyivka direction - Berdychi, Avdiyivka, Vodyane, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Paraskoviivka, Novomykhailivka and Pervomaiskena in the Zaporizhia direction - Novopil, Vremivka,  Velyka Novosilka, Novoukrainka, Prechistivka, Ugledar, Pavlivka, Volodymyrivka, Zaliznychne, Gulyaipole and Chervone.

In the South Bug direction, more than 25 settlements along the entire line of contact were shelled by Russian occupiers, in particular, Visokopylla, Myrolyubivka, Karierne, Novogrigorivka, Bilogirka, Blagodativka, Andriivka, Zorya, Shevchenkove, Ternovi Pody, Pravdyne, and Myrne.

Ukrainian troops repelled the attacks of the invaders in the settlements of Vesele, Kurdyumivka, Mykolaivka Druga, Bakhmutske, Zaitseve, Mayorsk, Pervomaiske, Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the last 24 hours.

 "Thanks to the successful actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, Russians continue to suffer losses in manpower and equipment," the message says.

On September 19, as a result of strikes on Russian personnel and military equipment, there is a damage to the personnel concentration area in the Pologiv district, numbering more than 20 people;  in the Melitopol district - an ammunition warehouse, 5 units of military equipment and more than 20 military personnel;  in the area of ​​the settlement of Kamianka - 10 units of military equipment and more than 10 servicemen of units of the occupation forces.  The destruction of Russian commandant's office in the city of Svatove, Luhansk region, where the enemy organized a headquarters and ammunition depot, was also confirmed.

 Also, Ukrainian Air Forces of the Defense Forces launched more than 20 strikes on Russian positions in the last 24 hours.

19 areas of concentration of Russian manpower and military equipment, and two positions of anti-aircraft missile systems were hit.  In addition, Ukrainian Air Defense units destroyed one SU-25 and four enemy drones.

" Ukrainian missile troops and artillery inflicted fire damage on 40 Russian objects in the last 24 hours. In particular, in 20 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, in 13 areas of concentration of artillery, as well as in 7 ammunition warehouses.  The losses of the enemy are being clarified," the General Staff added.
