Ukrainian Armed Forces repel Russian army's attacks in 7 settlements, hit 12 areas where Russian occupying forces are grouped

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports on Facebook.

"Russians try to hold the temporarily captured territories, concentrate its efforts on trying to disrupt the active operations of the Defense Forces in certain directions. Russians shell the positions of Ukrainian troops along the contact line, conducting aerial reconnaissance," the message says.

They also attack civilian infrastructure and civilian homes, violating international humanitarian law, laws and customs of war.

Currently, there remains a threat of the enemy launching air and missile strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine.

Russian occupiyng forces have launched 3 rocket and 12 air strikes, conducted more than 100 attacks from multiple missile systems in the last 24 hours.

More than 20 settlements were affected by Russian strikes. In particular, Bilogorivka, Zaitseve, Maryinka and Bakhmut.

There are no significant changes in the situation in the Volyn and Poliske directions.  In other directions, the Russians shelledfrom tanks and artillery systems of various types:

in the Slobozhansk direction - in the settlements of Strelech and Dvorichna; 

in the Kramatorsk direction - Bilogorivka, Verkhnokamianske, Serebryanka. Russians also carried out mining on the routes of the possible advance of units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces;

in the Bakhmut direction - in the settlements of Soledar, Bakhmut, Mayorsk, Zaytseve, Yakovlivkana;

in the Avdiivka direction - Avdiivka, Maryinka, Novoukrainka, Novomykhailivka, Sukha Balka;

Russians shelled areas of more than 20 settlements along the contact line by tanks, mortars, and barrel artillery in the Novopavlovsk and Zaporizhzhia directions.  Among them are Novoyakovlivka, Gulyaipilske, Novosilka, Novopil, Zaliznychne and Bogoyavlenka.

In the Southern Bug direction, more than 25 settlements along the contact line were shelled.

Units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled Russian attacks in Vyimka, Mayorsk, Spirne, Ozeryanivka, Bakhmutske, Kamianka and Ternovy Pody settlements in the last 24 hours.

Aviation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted 22 strikes in the last 24 hours. 3 Russian strongholds, 16 areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment, as well as 3 anti-aircraft missile systems were hit. In addition, Ukrainian air defense units destroyed two Russian drones.

Ukrainian missile forces and artillery hit 2 Russian control points, 12 areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, 2 warehouses with ammunition, an air defense facility, as well as 5 other important Russian facilities in the last 24 hours.
