Ukrainian Armed Forces repel attacks and push Russian enemy out of a number of settlements in Luhansk and Donetsk regions - General Staff

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces.

In addition, since the beginning of the day on October 24, as of 18:00, defenders of Ukraine repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Spirne, Soledar, Bakhmut, Andriivka, Maryinka, and Pervomaiske settlements.

As the General Staff added, during this period, the aviation of the Defense Forces made 17 strikes against the enemy.  It has been confirmed that 13 areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment of the enemy, four positions of anti-aircraft missile systems of the Russian forces have been hit.  During the day, Ukrainian missile forces and artillery hit four control points, 10 areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, 6 ammunition depots, an anti-aircraft missile complex, an area of ​​artillery fire positions and three other important enemy objects.

• In the afternoon of October 24, the air defense units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in just half an hour shot down two Russian attack helicopters over the Kherson region. 
• Since the start of the day the Russian occupiers launched 3 rocket and 7 air strikes on civilian targets and used MRLS three times.
