Russian army loses tanks, 28 artillery systems, 1,180 troops per day of war
The Commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, reported the information on the Air Force Command’s Telegram channel.
"I am grateful to the governments of Norway and the US for the decision to supply 2 NASAMS systems for the defense of Ukraine's airspace!" he said.
In particular, he added that the Air Force of Ukraine is ready to send air defense missile troops for training in Norway as soon as possible.
"The NASAMS anti-aircraft missile system, mastered by Ukrainian anti-aircraft gunners, has already proven its effectiveness in Ukraine. Thanks to the strong support of our partners, many Ukrainian lives have been saved and critical infrastructure facilities have been preserved," the statement said.
