Ukrainian Armed Forces neutralize another Russian ammunition depot in Kherson region

The Operational Command South shared the news in its address.

"Russia continues to conduct hostilities along the occupied defense line. In order to restrain the actions of our troops, it conducts shelling from barrel artillery, rocket salvo systems and periodically carries out airstrikes.

Thus, at dawn, a massive rocket-artillery attack was carried out on Mykolaiv and its suburbs. Several districts of the city were fired at by Smerch rocket launchers and S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems from the temporarily occupied Kherson region.  A gas main, a school building and two medical institutions were damaged, a trolleybus depot, workshops of a fishing enterprise, and several residential high-rise buildings were damaged. According to preliminary data, several civilians were injured. Debris analysis, clarification of the circumstances is ongoing. Information on the victims is being clarified.

In Bashtanka, a boiler house was destroyed by a rocket strike, a gas leak occurred, one person died, information about the scale of the destruction and the victims is being clarified.

At night, in the Berislav district of the Kherson region, an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group, up to 10 people, was stopped by the fire of our unit. The enemy was forced to retreat.

Immediately after the successful destruction of the ammunition warehouses in Nova Kakhovka, another ammunition warehouse in Charivne was targeted by an artillery unit.

The ship group of the enemy forces has been increased to five missile ships, and a submarine has also been added. So, a total of 44 Calibers are ready. There are currently 3 large amphibious ships.

The threat of missile strikes from the sea remains high. Also, an attack by strategic aviation is likely," the message says.
