Ukrainian Armed Forces neutralize 9 Russian Army howitzers, 6 tanks, a munitions depot, and over 100 soldiers in 24 hours of fighting in southern Ukraine

"The results of the combat day include the losses of the enemy troops in the amount of 104 Russian soldiers, 6 tanks, 26 units of other armored and automotive equipment, 9 howitzers "Msta-S" and "Msta-B", as well as the unmanned reconnaissance drone "Eleron-10". The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the warehouse of enemy ammunition in the Tomyna Balka district, a pontoon crossing near the village of Lviv, the command post of the 35th Army in the Kakhovskyi district and two control and observation points of the battalion tactical groups of the 247th Airborne Assault Regiment and the 126th Separate Coastal Defense Division in Mykolaiv and Beryslavsky districts, respectively," the message says
Aircraft forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the South of Ukraine conducted 21 strikes on enemy positions and logistical facilities.
"Depriving the enemy of a chance for combat success and solving logistics issues, our Aircraft forces conducted twenty-one strikes on Russian positions, support and command points, areas of concentration of forces and means, as well as transport and logistics facilities. Missile and artillery units continue to conduct firing tasks in an intensive number. Crossings through the Dnipro and Ingulets rivers are under close fire control," reports OC "South".
Operational Command previously reported that as of the morning of September 4, the Russians lost 2,049 tanks, 236 planes, 206 helicopters and about 49,500 of their troops killed during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
