Ukrainian Armed Forces need more ammunition to advance - military
Denys Nahornyi, chief of artillery staff of the 4th Rubizh Brigade, said that for active offensive actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, they need at least a one-to-three advantage in the number of ammunition
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"Of course, we would like to have more ammunition. However, today we have parity with the invading Russian forces in the amount of ammunition. This means we have enough for now. However, Ukrainian artillerymen want to cover the enemy more massively, so they need more shells," said Nahornyi.
The serviceman emphasized that Western partners should pay more attention to the supply of ammunition.
"In order to advance and move forward, the Ukrainian Armed Forces require more shells. Even according to old Soviet standards, we should have a one-to-three advantage, or even more. We are talking about active offensive actions. Therefore, our partners should pay more attention to this issue. Because if we do not restrain the Russians here and now, the whole of Europe will drown in blood," he added.
