Ukrainian Armed Forces' logistics routes near Bakhmut are working despite Russia's advance to city center - military expert Zgurets
Defense Express analyst Serhiy Zgurets said that the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold their logistics routes, despite the enemy's advance to the center of Bakhmut
He said this on the air of Espreso TV channel.
The General Staff has now changed its information policy and speaks less about the situation around Bakhmut.
"The Russian enemy is using aviation and artillery quite systematically, deploying airborne units on the flanks, and using Wagner PMC units to advance from the west to the center. The situation is difficult, but the flank remains under control. The similar story was with the access to the road near Khromovo - there were counterattacks, this area became safer, the enemy was pushed back there," said Zgurets.
According to him, this route is being used to a limited extent, but more actively than it was a few days ago. Meanwhile, the situation with the advancement of logistics routes through the village of Ivanivske remains in force - this is an important component for the further holding of Bakhmut.
