The Operational Command South informs about this.
"In the Kherson region, the Defense Forces have already liberated 88 settlements, in which about 12,000 people live," the message says.
A complex of stabilization measures is being carried out in the freed points. Among the recently de-occupied settlements are: Novodmytrivka, Kostyrka, Chereshneve, Novomykolaivka, Novopetrivka and Blakytne.
The region of Kherson in Ukraine’s south has been illegally annexed by Russia, and Vladimir Putin imposed martial law there earlier this week.
